The second day is dedicated to Goddess Brahmacharini, who is portrayed as walking barefoot and holding a rudraksha mala and a kamandalu (water pot).

Goddess Chandraghanta is worshipped on the third day. She is depicted with a moon-shaped bell (ghanta) on her forehead

On the fourth day, Goddess Kushmanda is venerated. She is believed to have created the universe with her divine smile

Goddess Skandamata, the mother of Lord Kartikeya (Skanda), is worshipped on the fifth day.

The sixth day is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani, who is considered one of the fiercest forms of Durga.

Goddess Kalaratri, the fierce and dark form of Durga, is worshipped on the seventh day. She is depicted with a dark complexion, disheveled hair, and a fearless posture.

On the eighth day, Goddess Mahagauri is venerated. She is depicted in a white sari, symbolizing purity and tranquility.

The ninth and final day of Navaratri is dedicated to Goddess Siddhidatri, who is the granter of knowledge and supernatural powers (siddhis)
